After a process that involved extensive HR input from all 10 UC campuses, plus an extensive internal review within UCSF, Peter Kotsonis has been promoted to “Assistant Vice Chancellor of Business Development, Innovation, and Partnerships”.
Under Peter’s leadership, Strategic Alliances has undergone a profound revolution in how it creates partnerships for our faculty that build off of our core internal strengths to result in programs that create as much, if not more, value for UCSF than for our partners…the Lab for Genetic Research, Immunoprofiler, the Alliance for Therapies in Neuroscience, and the Recombinant Antibody Network are just a few examples of what Peter and his team have helped to build over the past few years.
