Investor Panel for Therapeutic Opportunities

The Engagement and Opportunity team in OTMA hosted its first Investor Panel for Therapeutic Opportunities on Thursday, September 8th, 2022. Promising therapeutics start-up opportunities at UCSF are presented biannually to an external panel of KOL investors who provide feedback on the opportunity, help identify commercialization gaps, and refine the pitch.

The EOD team engages faculty and develops business opportunities for new ventures around select technologies. It takes a market-first approach by identifying the product and defining potential market opportunities up front. EOD launched Investor Panels in order to obtain live market feedback on our most promising start-up opportunities from investors from our KOL Feedback Network. The first two Panels EOD hosted were focused on dHealth opportunities, and this event was focused on therapeutic opportunities.
